The route taken by our High Priest into the MHP was definitely different! It WASN’T through the hand-made holy place (like all the previous high priests). And, it wasn’t with non-human blood. Instead, He used his own blood and went through a new and living veil, His own flesh. Once He arrived there, He obtained eternal redemption; not just one that lasted a year.
What’s more, upon offering His own blood He was offering the blood of the New Covenant, cleansing forever a sanctuary for God and His people. We’ll talk about all these things, and more.
Along the way we’ll chew on some meat. How, for example, was Jesus’ covenant-ratification like the first one? Won’t that destroy the idea of Him dying in order to establish His last will and testament? And, what about “almost all things”? Are there some things that were NOT cleansed by blood?
Finally, is there really gonna be a “second coming”?
